What We Do
Accessible | Enriching | Engaging
Our role is to support music education and performance in regional communities through collaborative leadership, expertise and advocacy.
Our joint Patrons, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC and Mr Dennis Wilson.
The Association is made up of 17 Regional Conservatoriums — together we:
promote and facilitate high quality music education for regional communities
advocate to government and other stakeholders for better regional music education opportunities
support our member conservatoriums and encourage collaboration.
This network of Regional Conservatoriums is unique in Australia, and indeed internationally.
To our knowledge, the only other collective of music education organisations that serves communities and school systems in a similar way is in Portugal.
Our joint Patrons are Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC and Mr Dennis Wilson.
